This workshop series covers the fundamentals of jewelry carving and fabrication. Participants will develop core hand skills and complete at least one finished piece. This class focuses on basic jewellery techniques, and is beginner friendly.

Explore intermediate digital painting and design with Shoshannah, using iPads and Apple Pencils in Adobe Suite to create original designs. Participants will complete their own design and finish the workshop with a high quality printed version of your work.

Beginner Bentwood box Class

February - March 2026

This hands on workshop is for beginners interested in learning the fundamentals of bentwood box making.

Participants will be guided through the process of creating their own bentwood box from start to finish. Each participant will complete a box to take home, along with select tools used in the making of their box.

Intermediate Naaxiin Class

April - November 2025

This class is for students who were a part of our beginner Naaxiin series in 2024, now ready to learn more complex techniques. With guidance from master weaver Evelyn Vanderhoop, eight participants will learn how to weave a pair of Naaxiin leggings.

Leggings are a more advanced project that builds on the basics of our first class while offering time, space, and support to keep growing as a weaver. This class was and exciting opportunity to keep learning together and deepening our connection to this ancestral weaving.

Beginner Naaxiin Class

In this foundational workshop series, 10 new weavers were introduced to the art of Naaxiin weaving with instruction from master weaver Evelyn Vanderhoop. Over the course of the program, each participant completed two beginner projects, learning core techniques and starting to understand how formline design is expressed through weaving.
